Terms of Service

This website is the Studio's portfolio and its enquiry channel. Nothing is bought on this page: there is no basket, no price is charged here, and submitting the enquiry form does not reserve a date or create a contract.

Payment happens later in the process, once a quotation has been agreed and an invoice issued. Invoices are paid online, through a secure payment link the Studio sends you or from your client portal — see clause 3.

Prices shown on this website are indicative starting points for planning purposes. The price for your event is the one stated in a quotation issued to you.

An enquiry leads to a conversation, and then to a quotation setting out the package, deliverables, add-ons, price and applicable tax. The quotation is sent to you as a private link and is valid until the expiry date shown on it.

Accepting the quotation is not the booking. The Studio then issues an agreement, which you sign electronically using a one-time code sent to the email address on your record.

On signature the Studio issues an invoice for the booking payment, carrying a payment link. Your date is reserved once that payment is confirmed.

One live agreement exists per booking. If an agreement expires or is voided before signature, a replacement may be issued, and the date is not held in the meantime.

Where the signed agreement and these terms disagree, the signed agreement prevails for that engagement.

All prices are quoted and payable in Indian Rupees (INR). The Studio does not quote or settle in any other currency.

Goods and Services Tax is applied at the rate in force and shown separately on the quotation and the invoice. Invoices are issued against the accepted quotation and carry the Studio's registration details.

Every invoice carries a secure payment link, and your invoices are also listed in your client portal. You can pay by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet.

Payments are handled by the Studio's payment gateway, not by the Studio. You enter your card or UPI details on the gateway's own secure page; the Studio never sees, handles or stores your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN. A payment is treated as received when the gateway confirms it, and a receipt is issued for each.

The Studio also accepts bank transfer where you prefer it. A transfer is treated as received when it clears.

The booking payment is due on signature and the balance before the event, on the schedule in the Refund and Cancellation Policy and repeated in your agreement. The Studio is not obliged to attend an event for which the balance has not been received.

Give the Studio accurate contact, event and billing details, and tell us promptly when they change — a wrong email address is the usual reason a contract or gallery link does not arrive.

Obtain permission from the venue for photography, including any fee, permit or restriction the venue imposes, and tell the Studio about restrictions in advance.

Provide reasonable access, a running order, and a nominated point of contact on the day, so that the Studio can shoot the schedule you are expecting.

Respond within a reasonable time when the Studio asks for selections, approvals or delivery details. Delivery timelines run from the point at which the Studio has what it needs from you.

The number of edited photographs, the coverage hours, the crew, any album or print, and the delivery window are those stated in your quotation and agreement. They are not varied by anything on this website.

Photographs are edited in the Studio's established style, which you can see throughout this portfolio. Editing is part of the work; re-editing to a materially different style is a separate commission.

Finished work is delivered through a private online gallery. Physical items, where included, are delivered separately and on their own timeline.

The Studio does not guarantee that any specific moment, person or arrangement will be photographed, and does not undertake to reproduce a particular image from another photographer's work.

The Studio retains copyright in every photograph it takes. That is the ordinary position in photography and it does not limit what you can do with your pictures.

On payment in full you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered photographs for personal and family purposes — printing, albums, sharing them with your guests, and posting them to your own social media. A credit is appreciated but not required.

Commercial use — advertising, resale, stock licensing, or use by a business or a vendor — needs the Studio's written permission first. Vendors who wish to use images from your event should contact the Studio.

Please do not apply filters, crops or edits to a delivered photograph and publish it as the Studio's work.

The Studio may show the photographs in its portfolio, on its social media, in its printed materials and in competition entries, unless your agreement restricts that use. You may ask for a specific image to be withdrawn from public display at any time.

Rescheduling is governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

The Studio may send a suitably experienced photographer in place of a named individual where illness, injury or an emergency makes that necessary. The deliverables and the standard of work remain as contracted.

Neither party is in breach for a failure caused by something genuinely outside its control — including serious illness, accident, natural disaster, civil disturbance, government restriction, or the failure of transport or venue access. Where this prevents the Studio from attending, the Studio will offer a replacement photographer, a rescheduled date, or a refund as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

The Studio carries out its work with reasonable skill and care and backs up files as a matter of routine. Even so, equipment can fail and files can be lost.

Where the Studio is liable to you for any reason connected with an engagement, its total liability is limited to the total amount you have paid for that engagement. The Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit or opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

The photographs, text and design on this website belong to the Studio or its licensors. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce or republish its images or text without written permission.

Please do not submit false details through the enquiry form, attempt to interfere with the site, or use automated means to scrape it.

This website is provided as it stands. The Studio does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the Studio's place of business have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Before starting proceedings, please raise the matter with the Studio directly using the contact details at the foot of this page. Most disagreements are resolved in a conversation.

The Studio may update these terms. The version in force for your engagement is the one published when your agreement was signed, and the effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
